Breeding in the fat-tailed dunnart following ovarian suppression with the gonadotrophin-releasing hormone agonist Lucrin® Depot

We investigated whether a contraceptive used in human IVF could be used to synchronise female cycling in the fat-tailed dunnart to advance marsupial breeding programs and technologies. The contraceptive was effective and suppressed breeding in the dunnart which allowed for fertile mating to occur in subsequent cycles. Read more via Reproduction, Fertility and Development!
